UPF 50+ SUN PROTECTION

Verified UPF 50+ protection engineered into lightweight performance fabric for extended outdoor use.

Problem

Extended time under the sun exposes the skin to both UVA and UVB radiation. Ordinary lightweight clothing may cover the body without providing a measured and verified level of ultraviolet protection.

Solution

During production, the lightweight 100% polyester fabric undergoes a specialized UV-protective treatment designed to reduce the transmission of harmful UVA and UVB radiation.

The fabric’s protective performance was independently tested according to the European standard DIN EN 13758-1:2007. The tested 100 g/m² fabric achieved a Rated UPF >50.

Laboratory measurements recorded:

Average UVA transmission: 1.33% — approximately 98.67% blocked.
Average UVB transmission: 0.52% — approximately 99.48% blocked.
UPF mean value: 277.06.
Official Rated UPF: >50, the highest reported rating under this test method.

Long sleeves and a protective hood extend coverage across the arms, neck, and head, helping reduce UV exposure on areas covered by the garment.

Silver Ion Odor Control

Advanced silver ion treatment designed to inhibit the growth of bacteria that cause unwanted odor on the fabric.

PROBLEM · During active movement, moisture and bacteria from the skin transfer to the fabric, creating conditions for bacterial growth and unwanted odor.

SYSTEM · During production, the fabric is treated with silver ions to help inhibit bacterial growth and significantly reduce odor buildup.

RESULT · By helping limit the growth of bacteria that cause odor on the fabric, the technology supports lasting freshness and comfort even during extended use.

NAZCA Silver Ion Odor Control works as part of the fabric’s performance system, helping the hoodie stay fresher for longer through heat, movement, perspiration, and extended outdoor activity.

PROBLEM · In hot weather, dense, heavy fabric restricts airflow, trapping heat and moisture next to the skin and limiting the natural cooling sensation created by movement. As the fabric becomes damp, it feels even heavier, clings to the body and creates a hot, stifling sensation that becomes a constant distraction and reduces comfort.

SYSTEM · Ultrafine polyester filaments create a soft, smooth and breathable structure that supports airflow, helps move moisture away from the skin and promotes rapid evaporation and drying.

RESULT · A lightweight, dry feel, a refreshing cooling sensation as you move and lasting comfort throughout long days outdoors.

Comfort starts with the fabric itself. Our PES Super Micro Performance Fabric is engineered with ultrafine polyester filaments that create an exceptionally lightweight, soft and smooth material that feels almost weightless against the skin.

Its finely interwoven, breathable structure allows air to circulate freely and helps moisture move away from the skin, spread across the fabric surface and evaporate quickly instead of remaining trapped within the material. This supports rapid drying and helps maintain a pleasantly dry and comfortable feel, reducing the heavy, damp sensation common with ordinary performance apparel.
